Cheap Design

Fri Jun 26, 2009, 1:34 AM
Lots of people have been complaining with the inability of major sites to provide an easy, intuitive and clean web design. Information should be easily accessible and text should be easy to read.

The crummy websites of so called professional companies is what got me started into graphics design. A product is never finished and can be evolved many more times. I learn't my way around Photoshop in order to show people what things should look like. Design for me is a hobby and not a business. I occasionally take on paid work but i do it to prove a point. Websites should be squeaky CLEAN!

I am on the look out for someone who can code xhtml/css and can maintain a good relationship over Skype or MSN. The ability to know their way around Wordpress or similar technologies would be good. You of course would be paid and compensated for any work involved. Time is money as we all know. If thats you contact me, either MSN, intelnode@hotmail.com or send me a message on deviantart and i will give you skype info.

Have good day fellow readers.

Basis for Web Interface

Web Interfaces

Clean Colors

Three shades of the one color Or Two shades of two colors. Shades are proven to produce depth and bring a more professional look to a website.

Separated Header and Columns

The website should have a header which blends in with the site, but is separated with relevant information to your website. There should be two columns as you want the reader to know exactly where the content they are looking for is.

Icons

Pictures represent 1000 words. The website should use detailed icons to represent the information which they are trying to provide to the reader.

Example: A PayPal Icon to show that you can use PayPal on your website.

Content

The website must have good and relevant content. It should provide exactly what the website is about and not have adverts all over the place so the reader doesn't know what is going on.
